This is my first novel. It's a social political thriller that is set in America following Obama's second term. It's a story about the direction in which we are headed and the possible consequences thereof.
It has recently come to my attention that some readers question whether my novel condones violence against the United States of America, and glorifies the Oklahoma City bombing, in particular. I can assure you that it does neither. I wrote this novel out of an intense patriotism for this country. You will see, if you read the entire novel, that good triumphs over evil. In this light, I'd like to point out that Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat Senator for the State of Michigan, read an early (but substantively identical) version of the first chapter and wrote me a very nice letter about it. She thought it was wonderful.
Now, do be aware that this is a work of fiction, and to write interesting fiction, the author often chooses to employ dastardly characters. And this novel has a few of those. But for heaven's sake keep reading and see what happens to the bad guys.
Of particular topical interest (I'm writing this in April, 2010), you will see similarities with the alleged "Christian Militia" who have been arrested for plotting domestic terrorism. Keep in mind that I wrote this storyline some 10 years ago, and while I've updated certain aspects to comprehend Obama, I long ago recognized the potential of groups to twist Christianity into something Jesus would simply not recognize. I've long been a student of the New Testament and you will find some early chapters to be filled with the Word of God. I won't tell you how the characters handle God's word. You'll have to read the story.
For those of you visiting my site as a result of my involvement in the Stop Islamization Of America (SOIA), this novel should prove especially interesting. Though I wrote it before I understood the depth of Islam's depravity (some revisions will be forthcoming) the central difference between Christianity and Islam is manifest: Christians who kill are violating a central premise of Christianity; Muslims who do not kill are, likewise, violating a central premise of Islam.
And those of you interested in the United States Constitution will find much to enjoy... if, that is, you agree with the Founding Fathers' original intent. I am a University of Michigan educated lawyer and I can read Supreme Court decisions with the best of them. Read these portions of the story slowly. Constitutional law simply cannot otherwise be understood.
