Republicans Control Best-Run States in America, 24/7 Wall St. Survey Shows |

Capitalism with fiscal restraint or more socialist ideas with no fiscal restraint… Hmmm…. Let’s see how it works…

The list is based on a review of data for financial health, standard of living and government services. While noting that current situations may stem from decisions made years ago and that external factors like weather can be as much to blame as poor governance, 24/7 Wall St. also points out that all of the high-ranking states have “well-managed budgets” and the worst states have “high debt relative to both income and expenditure.”

Islam 101 – Jihad Watch

Maybe it’s time to review this material from Jihad Watch.

Is it fair to paint all Islamic schools of thought as violent?

Islamic apologists often point out that Islam is not a monolith and that there are differences of opinion among the different Islamic schools of thought. That is true, but, while there are differences, there are also common elements. Just as Orthodox, Roman Catholic, and Protestant Christians differ on many aspects of Christianity, still they accept important common elements. So it is with Islam. One of the common elements to all Islamic schools of thought is jihad, understood as the obligation of the Ummah to conquer and subdue the world in the name of Allah and rule it under Sharia law. The four Sunni Madhhabs (schools of fiqh [Islamic religious jurisprudence]) — Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali — all agree that there is a collective obligation on Muslims to make war on the rest of the world. Furthermore, even the schools of thought outside Sunni orthodoxy, including Sufism and the Jafari (Shia) school, agree on the necessity of jihad. When it comes to matters of jihad, the different schools disagree on such questions as whether infidels must first be asked to convert to Islam before hostilities may begin (Osama bin Laden asked America to convert before Al-Qaeda’s attacks); how plunder should be distributed among victorious jihadists; whether a long-term Fabian strategy against dar al-harb is preferable to an all-out frontal attack; etc.

Former Mexican mayor found beaten to death

More than 20 Mexican mayors have been killed in the six years since President Felipe Calderon declared war on drug traffickers.

Read more:

More than 20 mayors of Mexican towns have been killed by drug lords. Here is the latest…

The former mayor of a Mexican town — who survived two earlier assassination attempts– was found in a ditch, beaten to death. The body of 36-year-old Maria Santos Gorrostieta was found three days after her family reported her missing, according to a BBC report.

The report also mentions that her husband was killed in an earlier attack on her.

DEACE: Obamacare entitlement has seduced the young – Washington Times

This is an excellent article showing how Obamacare is part of our move to socialism.

The new and real danger Obamacare presents is that aside from food and shelter, the average person has no more basic physical need than his health. Obamacare moves the likely unconstitutional concept of a federally funded social safety net into the definitely anti-constitutional realm of relying on the federal government for our most basic necessities.

This morning I was on with Steve Davis of Lifestyles Unlimited

This morning I was on the syndicated show, Lifestyles Unlimited, with Steve Davis, talking about how Americans must become business savvy to survive the multifaceted attack on our economy.

In particular, I pointed out how the Left’s wishlist includes:

  • massive increases in taxes ($3,800 per household just in 2013)
  • draconian federal regulations primarily through an EPA that now views its goals as encompassing “social” justice
  • Obamacare that is already causing businesses to fire employees, reduce their hours (so they are not full time) all to lessen the financial burden on the business
  • continued demonization of business and profit
  • continued runaway litigation against businesses for hang nails and spilled coffee in the lap

In this environment, the American economy will necessarily suffer.

The solution, in Steve’s view, is to become an economy of one and develop passive income sufficient to pay your necessary bills. His show leads the way…

Taxmageddon: Massive Tax Hikes on the Horizon

From the Heirtage Foundation…

The average American household would see its taxes rise by $3,800 in 2013 alone…

Taxmageddon Hits the Middle Class: Taxmageddon falls primarily on middle- and low-income Americans. That’s because 60 percent of the Bush tax cuts went to middle and low-income taxpayers. The expiration of the patch on the Alternative Minimum Tax AMT will cause these taxpayers to pay a tax they were never supposed to be hit with, and the expiration of the payroll tax cut is a tax hike almost exclusively on middle- and low-income families. That’s just the direct impact. Americans at all income levels will feel the pain of Taxmageddon because it will slow job creation and wage growth.

Illinois works on driver’s licenses for illegals – Washington Times

Can someone explain to me why an illegal–that is, someone in America ILLEGALLY–is not simply arrested and deported upon discovery?

No-no-no! We give them benefits! Gift baskets full of driver’s licenses, food stamps, free education, health care, etc!

Comrades! Forward with Obama!

Illinois’ top leaders said Tuesday that they will push to issue driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants — testing federal strictures and becoming the latest sign that the pendulum has swung away from Arizona-style crackdowns and toward those pursuing a softer line on immigration.

DNI cut “al Qaeda” reference from Benghazi talking points (not Barry!)

This is a nifty attempt to claim that Barry had no idea…

The head of the DNI is James Clapper. Hand picked by Barry to carry the torch for Islam…

CBS News has learned that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) cut specific references to “al Qaeda” and “terrorism” from the unclassified talking points given to Ambassador Susan Rice on the Benghazi consulate attack – with the agreement of the CIA and FBI. The White House or State Department did not make those changes.

Americans Gives Russia British Trident Numbers | Atlantic Sentinel

I discussed this on The Morning Drive with Doug Kellett, Talk Radio 850 WPTF,  Raleigh-Durham.

One of Britain’s more guarded secrets was the number of nuclear weapons in its arsenal. Well, not any more. Obama gave the Russians the serial numbers for all of the nuclear weapons in Britain’s arsenal. Ostensibly, this was to show our good faith to Putin. Really? Wonder how the Brits felt about it…

The agreement, according to diplomatic cables released by the whistleblowers’ website, detailed plans for the Obama Administration to reveal to the Russians the serial numbers of all Trident D5 missiles which the United States provide to Britain.

That’s hope and change for you.

Intel officials unable to say who changed CIA talking points on Libya

Here is what is amazing: it doesn’t matter.

Former CIA Director David Petraeus stoked the controversy over the Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack, testifying Friday that references to “Al Qaeda involvement” were stripped from his agency’s original talking points — while other intelligence officials were unable to say who changed the memo, according to a top lawmaker who was briefed.

Constitutiuonal ban on affirmative action is unconstitutional?

In 2006 Michigan residents amended the Michigan Constitution to prohibit racial preferences in the admissions process to universities.

So here we have, again, a judge deciding that a lawfully created amendment to a state constitution is unconstitutional.

Get that?

The University of Michigan may be able to consider race in its admissions process again following an appeals court ruling Thursday.

Another attack on Americans signing Secession petitions…

Here’s another conservative commentator railing at the honest expression of displeasure with Obama as revealed in all the signatures for secession.

This is sad and I absolutely disagree with the author.

Let the secessionists leave the Republican Party, or whatever the threat is this time. We have to immediately mock and marginalize these people, not coddle lunacy and sympathize with stupid. At least if they can’t be associated with the conservative movement, they’re somebody else’s problem.

Scalia vs. Thomas Jefferson on secession

Here is an interesting piece on a hot topic. There are now some 675,000 signatures from around the country of people desiring that their state secede from the union. They would all get a kick out of my novel. I wrote it with them in mind.

Here is a pull quote on the issue from Thomas Jefferson:

Jefferson wrote that states “should separate from our companions only when the sole alternatives left, are the dissolution of our Union with them, or submission to a government without limitation of powers.”He continued, “Between these two evils, when we must make a choice, there can be no hesitation.”

The Difference between Florida Rebublicans and Democrats when it comes to voting intregrety…

So, here is a volunteer attorney who worked for John Kerry 2004. This time he is volunteering for Allen West. Look at how Republicans treated him when he was for Democrats verses how Democrats treat him when he is for a Republican:

“I never experienced the kind of obstructionist tactics and hostility when I was serving on John Kerry’s presidential election team in 2004,” Shapiro added. “I was impressed with the system despite its flaws, but I’m starting to realize that there’s a big difference when you’re a member of the same party as the supervisor of elections than when you’re with the opposition. What I’ve seen these past few days has caused me to lose some faith and confident in the integrity of the democratic process.”

The unhinged Amazon reviewer has disappeared…

There had been a nut case on Amazon who, as some of you know, claimed my novel promoted civil war, racism, and even the Aurora Massacre.

Well, sadly, he has pulled his entire diatribe. He’d even written a poem about me that was most fun to read…

This is too bad as I used his twisted ideas in ads to great effect!

Alas… we knew him well.

Iranian Jets Fire on US Aircraft Over Gulf

This was an act of war.

Barry intentionally withheld this news so that his US-damaging foreign policies would remain quite before the election.

This will also not likely appear on any of the “Advocacy” networks. (If you’ve read my novel you know that term.)

The Pentagon confirmed Thursday two Iranian fighter jets fired upon, but did not hit, an unarmed U.S. drone flying Nov. 1 in international airspace over the Persian Gulf.
